John Floyd's work has appeared in more than 250 different publications, including Strand Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, Woman's World, Mississippi Noir, and the print edition of The Saturday Evening Post. A former Air Force captain and IBM systems engineer, he is also an Edgar Award nominee, a four-time Derringer Award winner, a three-time Pushcart Prize nominee, and a recipient of the Edward D. Hoch Memorial Golden Derringer Award for lifetime achievement in short mystery fiction. John's stories have been selected for inclusion in the 2015, 2018, and (upcoming) 2024 editions of Best American Mystery Stories, and were listed among the top 50 mysteries of the year in 2000, 2010, 2012, 2016, and 2017.
John is also the author of nine books: Rainbow's End (2006), Midnight (2008), 免费科学上外网 app (2010), Deception (2013), Fifty Mysteries (2014), Dreamland (2016), 菜鸟加速器官方 (2018), Lighten Up a Little (2024), and Selected Stories (upcoming in late 2024).
